As we continue to grow, we’re launching the Elder Care Ambassador Programme — a unique initiative designed to harness the power of personal recommendations and trusted local relationships to build awareness and generate demand for our services.
About the Elder Care Ambassador Role:
We’re looking for passionate, community-minded individuals to become Elder Care Ambassadors — trusted advocates of our mission and brand. As an Elder Ambassador, you’ll use your voice, connections, and influence to introduce Elder to families in your community who may benefit from our in-home care services.
You’ll engage people in your network both online and offline, building awareness of Elder through genuine, everyday conversations. You choose when and how you participate, no commitment required.
The ideal candidate:
-Ideally, the capacity to dedicate a minimum of 10 hours per week to the programme.
-Drive and initiative for workshopping ideas with the Care Ambassador Programme Manager.
-A knack for speaking with people, developing and nurturing business and individual relationships, and the tenacity to follow up on leads with phone calls and emails.
-A past background in sales and/or healthcare or social care.
-A genuine passion for elder care, social care and in-home care.
-Strong connections within your local community and a trusted voice in your network.
Ways You Might Contribute as an Elder Care Ambassador:
-Use your local knowledge and connections to raise awareness of Elder and its mission within your community.
-Explore opportunities to connect with families, community groups, social media groups, healthcare professionals, and local organisations in ways that suit your style and network.
-Share Elder’s mission and services online through your personal social media platforms.
-Share information about Elder in community spaces such as pharmacies, GP clinics, libraries, golf clubs, places of worship, or other hubs.
-Communicate Elder’s mission and services through your personal social media channels, in a manner that feels authentic to you.
-Identify and pursue opportunities to introduce Elder’s offerings to those who may benefit, helping to generate interest and potential leads.

Remuneration
If you refer a person to Elder, and the placement goes live, you’ll receive:
- £750 for permanent, live-in care (plus an additional £250 for 45 days of care or more).
- £200 for short-term, live-in care.
- £200 for visiting care.
Important notes:
This is not an employed position. We are seeking independent freelancers/contractors to partner with us as Elder Care Ambassadors.
You must have a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check for this role.
