We're seeking enthusiastic individuals to become our local champions, forging vital connections with health-related businesses in their communities.
As a Care Ambassador, you will be at the forefront of expanding Elder's reach, educating local healthcare professionals and businesses about the invaluable benefits of live-in care. This is a unique opportunity to combine your relationship-building skills with a deeply meaningful purpose, directly impacting the lives of older people and their families.
As an independent partner, you are free to structure your outreach and activities in a way that suits your schedule and approach. There are no set hours, no line management, and no targets — just an opportunity to earn referral income through trusted connections.
Typical Activities Our Partners Undertake:
Business Development: Proactively identify and approach local health-related businesses, including GP practices, pharmacies, audiologists, physiotherapists, and other relevant healthcare providers.
Relationship Building: Establish and nurture strong, trusted relationships with key contacts within these businesses through professional cold outreach (email, phone, in-person visits).
Persistent Follow-up: Demonstrate the tenacity to follow up with businesses multiple times, nurturing relationships and diligently working to win their partnership and secure their commitment to Elder's referral programme.
Programme Education: Clearly articulate the benefits of Elder's live-in care services and explain how Elder's Referral Programme works for partnering businesses.
Partnership Onboarding: Guide interested businesses through the process of joining Elder's Referral Programme.
Brand Promotion: Ensure Elder's brochures, digital content, and messaging are effectively displayed and communicated within partner locations.
Community Engagement: Represent Elder as a knowledgeable and approachable advocate for high-quality home care within your local area.
Who This Opportunity Might Suit:
We are seeking enthusiastic and proactive individuals who are comfortable initiating conversations and building rapport. While a formal sales background is beneficial, we are particularly interested in candidates who exhibit the following traits:
Approachable & Enthusiastic: A warm, friendly demeanor that encourages open conversation.
Confident Communicator: Comfortable and articulate when speaking with professionals, whether by email, phone, or in person.
Digital Proficiency: Must possess a good level of technical skill, particularly with email communication, including professional etiquette, managing contacts, and sending attachments.
Proactive & Self-Motivated: Driven to identify opportunities and take initiative in reaching out to new contacts.
Strong Networking Skills: An ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
Empathetic & Passionate: A genuine desire to support older people and their families, understanding the importance of quality care at home.
Organised: Capable of managing a pipeline of contacts and tracking engagement effectively.

Referral-based Earning Opportunity: You will be paid for every care placement that goes live with Elder through your referred business partners.

Access to helpful resources and materials to support your outreach: Access to Elder's resources, marketing materials, and ongoing guidance to help you succeed.

Remuneration (B2C):
If you refer a person to Elder, and the placement goes live, you’ll receive:
- £750 for permanent, live-in care (plus an additional £250 for 45 days of care or more).
- £200 for short-term, live-in care.
- £200 for visiting care.
Remuneration (B2B):
If you bring a business/business chain to Elder, the business will receive payment and you'll also be entitled to the following referral rates for every placement that goes live:
- £750 for permanent, live-in care (plus an additional £250 for 45 days of care or more).
- £200 for short-term, live-in care.
- £200 for visiting care.
Important notes:
This is not an employed position. We are seeking independent freelancers/contractors to partner with us as Elder Care Ambassadors.
You must have a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check for this role.
