About the role

Reporting to our Marketing Director, you’ll be taking ownership of all our B2B Marketing. You will be building a brand new function, addressing the questions on how we integrate the Elder proposition into the hearts and minds or key partners in the public and private sectors: think doctors, social workers, and insurance firms.

We see Partnerships as a key channel to unlocking further growth, and you will work closely with our Head of Partnerships and the whole Partnerships team to help identify gaps in our knowledge, create a marketing strategy that unlocks opportunities for the Partnerships and positions Elder as a solution to the social care challenges faced by local health authorities.

You will need a passion for and experience of attaining insights and utilising them to formulate and own a B2B marketing strategy. You will have experience of - and be comfortable with - working solo and building a team. Ideally, you will have experience working across public sector bodies, bringing your own style, expertise and ideas to the role in order to deliver our Partnership objectives

As well as our Partnerships team, you will work incredibly closely with the wider Marketing function, including our Senior Brand Manager, Senior Insights Manager, and CRM Manager, so good stakeholder management skills are essential.

This is a hugely exciting new role and is the perfect chance for a B2B Marketing Manager to step in and make an immediate impression on a company acknowledged as one of the fastest-growing startups in the UK. You will be tasked with hitting the ground running - this is a brand new role and will be highly visible to the wider business.

What you’ll be responsible for

  • All B2B marketing, including development, implementation, and execution of our B2B marketing strategy for both public and private sector partnerships 
  • Identifying and filling gaps in our knowledge to open up marketing opportunities
  • Working closely with the Partnerships team and utilising the wider marketing team (including Brand, CRM, Insights, and Social Media) to deliver marcomms
  • Ensuring that the Partnerships team identify and focus their collective efforts on high value projects and then continuously and incrementally improve the results over time
  • Proactively analyse and report on all Partnership marketing activities and initiatives.

Need to have

  • Demonstrable experience of creating, implementing and executing a B2B Marketing strategy in a fast-paced, high growth business
  • Experience working with public sector bodies
  • Ability to identify gaps in knowledge that require additional insights, and ideally some knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods
  • Experience of measuring ROI against campaigns
  • Hands-on experience with web content, email marketing, social media, and offline marketing promotion
  • Fantastic communication skills and ability to translate problems into marketing solutions with measurable objectives
  • First-class stakeholder management - especially with senior management
  • Strong organisational skills to deliver multiple projects to deadline and budget and work under pressure.

  • Experience of working effectively independently.
