About the role
As Performance Marketing Lead at Elder, your role is pivotal in steering our paid media and other performance marketing initiatives to connect the right mix of families and care practitioners with Elder's platform. You'll be reporting directly to the Director of Marketing and will work in close collaboration with the executive team, external partners, and various internal teams.
You are responsible for crafting and implementing innovative performance marketing strategies, aligning them with our broader goals and cross-functional team efforts. You'll oversee the creation, execution, and continuous optimisation of these campaigns, ensuring they contribute significantly to Elder's growth and commercial targets.
Lead and Execute Paid Media Strategies: Implement and manage paid media campaigns tailored to Elder's diverse care services and customer segments.
Manage budget allocation between channels to grow customers while controlling overall LTV:CAC ratios.
Work closely with key media partners such as Google and Microsoft, as well as marketing technology suppliers.
Develop and maintain dashboards to monitor the effectiveness of paid media efforts, ensuring alignment with Elder's strategic objectives in the care marketplace.
Regularly report to Elder's senior leadership on digital marketing activities, providing insights and progress updates against key performance targets.
Gather and analyse data on customer behaviour, marketing effectiveness, and online interactions, using these insights to refine Elder's digital marketing strategies.
Continuously update knowledge on the latest digital marketing trends and techniques, identifying new opportunities for Elder to enhance its online presence and attract more users to its care marketplace.
Clearly communicate strategies, results, and insights to internal teams, senior management, and external partners, ensuring a cohesive understanding and approach to Elder's digital marketing efforts.
Multi years of experience taking part in growing consumer-facing marketplaces from £10-30M to £50-150M+ in GTV or equivalent. Your contribution will have been hands-on experience running paid search, paid social, re-marketing, and programmatic campaigns across multiple platforms.
Strong skills in data analytics, with the ability to derive meaningful insights from complex data sets and apply these insights to optimise campaign performance.
Experience of marketing new products and services. Comfortable working with sales, finance, and other functions to design, model and test new campaigns and channels.
Strong understanding and experience in collaborating with product development or growth marketing teams, especially in platforms or services related to social care or marketplace technologies.
A demonstrated ability to keep up to date with the latest emerging technologies and approaches especially that will enable more effective execution of the marketing strategy such as AI.
High agency and adaptability to a dynamic work environment, with an eagerness to continuously reassess and optimise performance marketing strategies in the fast-evolving care sector.
A proactive attitude towards understanding and contributing to Elder's broader objectives, taking pride in the impact of marketing efforts on the company's success.
Experience working with cross-functional teams with an agile approach, you have the ability to promote a test, learn and iterate mindset with clear alignment to long-term strategic goals. The capacity to simplify complex ideas into impactful, straightforward messages is essential.
