Lead Data Engineer
Lead Data Engineer
About us
Are you looking to join a talented, hardworking, diverse team, focused on a life-changing mission, at one of Europe’s fastest-growing tech startups? If yes, then you are in the right place!
At Elder, we are reinventing what it means to age. We have started with a care marketplace which connects older people, families and carers to enable 1:1 personalised care at home. Our technology platform CareOS is at the core of the Elder experience enabling a personal, transparent and flexible care experience for all. Since launch in 2016, more than 11 million hours of care have been delivered through Elder in over 500 towns and cities across the UK.
We’ve been fortunate to receive awards including the Sunday Times TechTrack fastest growing UK companies, Deloitte Fast50 and Care Company of the Year at the HealthInvestor 2022 Awards while also covered by the BBC, Financial Times and Guardian
We are still in the very early stages of our mission and potential impact and looking for talented people to join us in delivering it that share our values of seeking excellence, together and for our society. What also matters to us? Well, it matters that you’re unique. It matters that you’re great at what you do, that you put in the hard work. And, obviously, it matters that you care as much as we do.

Ultimately, you will champion a self-service data mindset and employ suitable tools to transform Elder into a data-driven organisation. Your success will be measured by the performance (or relative improvement) of the way Elder is able to access and use data, the business-wide impact of this, how well adopted data best practices are and the contribution of insights to our various functions.
